My client are a leading recruitment business focussed on market research, insights, data analytics and digital marketing fields. They are currently looking for an Associate Consultant to join the team.

They are a smart, vibrant, professional agency helping market research, insight and brand strategy teams find the talent they need to succeed. They provide a genuine consultative service and emphasize long term relationship building instead of shoehorning quick wins.

They work with big and small. Big like eBay, Disney, Samsung, MTV, the Guardian, McDonalds. Small like start-ups, research agencies and boutique strategy consultancies. They are a young team based in a WeWork, just off the Strand.

About the Job

Salary: Competitive base + Uncapped Commission

Your role is to help clients meet their recruitment needs through matching the right talent to great opportunities. They will give you the tools, show you how and provide continued support. They are not KPI obsessive micromanagers. Your job is to make fees by joining the dots and they will give you the freedom to find how you do that best.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Head hunting great talent. Establish and maintain candidate relationships. Understand what they do, figure out what they want and find them exciting new opportunities

* Developing your market knowledge. Their offer to clients is their specialist expertise. You’ll need to learn about the market they work for and become an expert in the sector

* Building your reputation. You want to be who clients and candidates turn to when they need help. Have conversations, schedule meetings, attend industry events and build your social media presence

* Building your pipeline. If you can’t help right now you could be more useful in the future. Timing and proper organization can help you maximize your utility to candidates and value to clients

* Influencing decision making. Help along that happy ever after by selling their client’s stories to candidates and show clients what their candidates could do for them

* Creating new marketing content. Engage through adverts, emails, blogs and more

About You

* You’ll be a recent graduate or someone with a year or two’s related experience. You’ll be looking for a career where you get out what you put in. Where you’re rewarded for hard work. Where you’re never watching the clock. Where you can build your own thing. Where people are your primary focus

In addition, you will:

* Be self-motivated. They don’t rely on KPIs but that means you need to be your own motivator

* Be an effective communicator. You need to convey what you want to say effectively through strong spoken word and writing skills

* Be a strong relationship builder. People need to buy into you and believe that you can provide them with the service they need

* Be commercially minded. You’ll be able to spot exciting business opportunities to be taken advantage of

* Be organized. You’d be surprised the difference this can make

* Constantly look to improve. We constantly try to refine and question the way we work
