This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lettings professional to head up a brand new venture. This permanent, full-time Lettings Manager role will be based out of our client’s office near Bury St Edmunds and comes with a negotiable salary as well as the chance to be part of something really quite special…

Our client is an independent Estate Agency located close to Bury St Edmunds and has a well-established reputation for property sales in the local area. They are known for their small but incredibly friendly, professional and helpful team and services and have built a great reputation over the years.

Excitingly, they are now expanding with the launch of a new Lettings Department so require a tenacious, hardworking and experienced Lettings Manager to head up this new avenue.

Once up and running, with advertising in place, the successful candidate will be expected to effectively manage the full lettings function, although with support from colleagues. In the long-run, depending on workload there may be the chance to recruit for your own team. Other duties will involve dealing with enquiries from potential landlords, viewing properties and taking details, advertising these and vetting potential tenants, conducting viewings and managing the process effectively, running marketing campaigns, and offering great service throughout.

If you’re a confident, personable Lettings professional who wishes to take ownership and really drive all aspects of a brand new Lettings division within an already well-thought-of and established Agent then this could be just the match for you. Although this opportunity will involve a great deal of hard work, particularly in the early stages of development, our client has a fantastically supportive and collaborative team to help along the way. Ultimately, there may be opportunities to become more than a Manager in the business, depending on the success and structure of the Lettings division as it grows.

The successful person will help plan and execute the launch of the department and therefore we require somebody with plenty of industry experience, who is ideally ARLA qualified and has the desire to be a driving force in the launch of this new area of business for our client.

In return, our client is offering a brilliant chance to join their happy, small team and have a key role in shaping this new area of the company. They are offering a negotiable salary dependent on experience, and great long-term prospects.

To be considered you’ll need to be based locally to Bury St Edmunds and possess considerable experience in Lettings Management. You’ll also need to be an excellent team player who is happy to share responsibilities and have the drive to effectively nurture this new business avenue properly. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are also essential to be considered for this opportunity.
