Temporary Production Operative based in Ely

Hourly rate: Competitive

Duration: Up to 6 weeks

Hours: Day shift - Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:30 and Friday: 06:00 – 13:00

Are you available immediately and looking for work in a busy production department based in Ely?

A temporary Production Operative position has just come up and we’re looking for someone mechanically minded and with a flexible attitude.

Main Duties:

* Assemble products and take a flexible role on an assembly flow line.
* Help identify opportunities to improve assembly processes and further improve product quality and production output.
* Learn a variety of different roles (full training will be given) within the production department.
* Preventative maintenance and daily machine care may be required.
* Assist in the training and development of other Team Members.

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience manually assembling a quality product.
* A practical ‘hands on’ approach with a strong mechanical aptitude.
* An ability to problem solve.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Ability to work to given targets effectively, both unsupervised and as part of a team.
* Ability to think on your feet and develop creative solutions to daily problems.
* Ability to multitask effectively without losing sight of priorities.
