Job Overview and Responsibilities

Solvay has vacancy for an E&I Supervisor based at our Halifax site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the site E&I team and a number of contractors.

Key Tasks

* Management of resource versus workload priorities.

* Ensuring planned inspections carried out to schedule.

* Low voltage switchgear maintenance.

* Troubleshooting

* Management of team including appraisals, development and training.

* HSE Compliance.

* Coordination to production.

* Implementation of maintenance/capital projects.

* Keep technical documentation up to date.

* Develop written procedures.

* To be able to communicate to HSE

Education and Experience

* Minimum Apprentice Trained

* 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.

* COMPEX aware (preferably trained).

* EX 14 Responsible persons trained

* Supervisory experience.

* SIS/SIL aware

* IPAF desirable
