Associate / Junior Project Manager - Global (based at one of the EU Hubs) - €37,500 + Package

We currently have 2 openings for Associate Project Management Professionals within one of a Global Medical Devices Organisation. The first 6 months of the scheme would be based in Ireland, after which the candidate can choose which of the EU Hubs they wish to be based from (Hubs Inlcude London, France, Germany, Switzserland, Belgium)

About the role:

An Associate Project Manager is an entry level leader of strategic projects for the EMEA commercial organisation. The purpose is to manage these projects to ensure the highest level of performance to meet the goals and ensuring excellent change management throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to agreed deadlines, within budget and by following organized and repeatable procedures.
Manages small cross-functional project teams (with assistance); Acquires resources, leads teams effectively, coordinates the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
Responsible to create & execute appropriate project change management plans (with assistance). Acts as a liaison with project stakeholders and effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following project management methodologies.
Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

What we’re looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Strong organization, execution, communication and influencing skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to confidently handle full responsibility for project completion
Results-oriented and focused on delivering timely, accurate and premium execution
Demonstrated experience planning, managing and completing projects of low to medium complexity
Comfortable & clear in presentations – face to face, by telephone and/or video conference
Fluency in written & spoken English
Work permits in place for working in the EU
Ability to freely travel around EMEA. This role may have up to 30% travel

Preferred Qualifications

Project management certification a plus
2nd European language a plus
Experience in being part of and/or managing cross functional projects and/or initiatives
Demonstrated ability to lead and work together with a cross functional team
Ability to manage project plans (timeline, resource needs, budgets, milestones etc.) and execution to deliver cost, schedule, performance, and verification of results
Demonstrated experience in managing change and communication plans and execution
Confidence to manage customer / stakeholder expectations from peers to senior management, with regular voice-of-customer touch-base and feedback.
Candidate must be comfortable in front of all levels of the organization and throughout EMEA – both in communication & presentation to individuals and/or groups, both remotely and face-to-face.
