Software Developer C# .Net - Belfast

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000.00 Depending On Experience

The company

Our client is a long-established software development house with expertise in cloud-based technologies. Our client gives customers and network providers Unified Communications (UC) analytics to enhance their Business Intelligence (BI). We have a number of product offerings including Bill Analysis, UC Reporting and Toll Fraud.
Due to a number of new large contracts, they are looking to expand their Software Development Team. They have a clear 5-year strategy and are looking for skilled and motived developers to join them.

The Role

As an experienced C# .NET Developer, you will lead the development of software solutions and influence decision on technical issues. You will be responsible for writing software specifications, developing and implementing software applications and components and reporting to stakeholders. Using development tools such as ASP.NET C#, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery and
Communication is key, and you will work closely with the rest of the team to get the product to where it needs to be.

This Software Developer will...

- Work on critical pieces of work for clients.
- This post holder will be responsible for the continued development of their current platforms.
- The post holder will be required to develop and deliver requirements alongside key stakeholders and effectively manage their time to ensure successful delivery.
- The post holder will be responsible for project hand over to the customer and to the support staff to ensure any, updates, bug fixes etc. can be handled within the Service Desk.
- The post holder must be knowledgeable and competent with C# .Net and be up to the challenge of a platform re-development.
- Ideally they are looking for a strong communicator, with the ability to understand the direction of the team and company and get really involved in what they are aiming to do.

Essential Requirements

- Degree in Computer Science or related
- Ideally 3+ years` experience of developing in ASP.NET, C# and SQL experience
- Data Modelling and DB Design
- Open minded, enthusiastic to learn new products and technologies
- Customer focused attitude
- SQL Server database experience
