We are now seeking to recruit a Technical Support Officer to join the talented and dedicated team at Mentor.  The successful individual will ideally already have experience in a field based software support role, but will certainly possess a, good knowledge of MS Office, Operating Systems & Networks and a UK Driving Licence in order to undertake a role which will be based at the Huddersfield or Nottingham Sites for two days per week, with the remaining time spent with clients based across the UK.

We are happy to provide in-depth training in our software and solutions but in return seek an enthusiastic, customer focused individual who is very comfortable around IT and who can demonstrate that they have coached/ trained others in this area. Candidates must also possess a willingness to travel frequently.

The role objectives are to provide on-site installation & customer training for Mentor’s software products, ensuring integration with existing software, network & communication equipment and to provide subsequent telephone support following installation, ensuring that customers receive timely, professional and efficient service.  Day to day duties will include providing telephone/ remote support on Mentor's application software, ensuring technical support calls are completed within response time targets, and identifying potential sales opportunities for Mentor's products to existing customers and taking ownership of the customer in all aspects relating to service delivery. This role will also entail field visits to customer sites to install and provide training for Mentor's software products.

You will therefore need to possess a full Driving Licence, a flexible but organised approach and the face to face presentation skills to be able to liaise confidently and effectively with Customers.
