Korea Foods Company Limited

• Position: Purchasing Manager

• Location: New Malden, Surrey

• Salary: £39,000 - £41,000 per annum

About Us

Established in 1999, Korea Foods has grown to emerge as the UK's leading importer of Korean food with a distribution network covering the entire UK and into Europe.

We pride ourselves on innovation and are constantly seeking new opportunities to grow and expand into emerging markets that bridge eastern and western cultures through cuisine.

We carry and distribute Korean food products through our wholesale and retail channels. We import directly from suppliers in Korea.

The Role

We are now looking to expand our dynamic Purchasing Department with the addition of a Korean speaking ‘Purchasing Manager’, specialising in the purchasing of Korean products and all relevant associated duties.

Reporting into the Trading Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that Korea Foods Company Limited delivers on an agreed purchasing strategy when dealing with Korean suppliers and negotiations, quality checks and purchasing goods. This will include setting policies for purchasing that take into account budgets, stock requirements, market trends, competitor movements and sales forecasts.

You will negotiate the best price from Korean suppliers, communicate at all levels (externally and internally) and strive to ensure that Korea Foods Company Limited is positioned as the leading Korean food importer in Europe.
