Job Description

As a Fire Safety Surveyor you will be responsible for ensuring fire risk assessment remedial works are delivered on time and within budget, while also conforming to relevant guidelines, maintaining high standards and quality assurance which conforms to current legislation.

Day to day duties include:

* INSPECT ALL COMPARTMENTATION

* CARRY OUT OR MANAGE ALL DOOR SURVEYS

* PRODUCE REPORT ON ROBUST DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS FOR QS TO PRICE ON.

* ESTIMATE TIMESCALES AND SKILL SETS REQUIRED

* REPORT ON SITE CONDITIONS (ACCESS, LIMITATIONS ETC.)

* PRODUCE SITE PLAN FOR CONTAINER, SKIPS, WELFARE

* REPORT ON TENANTS OR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE WORKS

* LIST ALL MATERIALS REQUIRED AND ENSURE THESE ARE ORDERED VIA THE QUANTITY SURVEYOR WEEKLY

* REQUEST AND MANAGE PRODUCTION OF ENGINEERING JUDGEMENTS

* OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO CONTRACT MANAGERS

To be successful for the Fire Safety Surveyor role you will:

- Qualifications such as - NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) or similar

-Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the fire safety industry

-Must be a professional member of Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE Graduate (GIFireE) member as a minimum, or similar

-Experience of implementing measures to improve a fire safety culture

-A valid UK driving licence
