My client are an established regional civil engineering and groundwork specialist who offer services such as excavation, earthworks, foundations, drainage, piling, insitu concrete structures and hard and soft landscaping.

Projects have traditionally been enabling works for projects such as care homes, warehouses, apartment buildings and sheds, but they have recently diversified into highways and are such looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with experience on highways projects.

Duties will include:

·Managing costs of highways projects – mainly drainage and link roads

·Preparing bills of quantities

·Assisting with procurement

·Preparing and analysing costings

·Feasibility studies

Their ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and will have had similar project experience. They are looking to recruit on a permanent basis and are offering a competitive salary. Benefits such as holiday allowance and car allowance are negotiable. Sites are across the Cheshire region.
