An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyors at ALL LEVELS to join a leading Main Contractor

Our client is a leading Main Contractor. The company has a reputation for high quality installations with experience across all industry sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, hotel & leisure, public sector and residential.

The successful candidate will have a Pharmaceutical background as well as experience in estimating.

The Quantity Surveyor will be involved in the following:

• Cost Planning and Estimating
• Procurement & tender evaluation
• Negotiation & preparation of contract documents
• Valuations
• Cost reporting
• Final accounts
• Contract administration

Applicants should:

• Hold a relevant degree, diploma or postgraduate qualification
• Come from mechanical background and have experience in estimating
• Have a minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience
• Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of:
• Lead roles within projects, working directly with other consultants, contractors & subcontracts,
• Managing projects through to completion
• Building sound relationships with clients & key stakeholders
• Have exceptional communicative skills coupled with strong time management
• Be capable of managing budgets and managing information effectively
• Good presentation skills
