Job Summary



The Gas Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, sourcing and developing new business opportunities for the Gas Infrastructure Group.

Duties include:

* Due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions and divestitures related to Dominion RNG Holdings LLC, Align RNG LLC, potential Hydrogen opportunities and Dominions New Gas Business Development Group generally.

* Responsible for managing cross-functional teams comprising Dominion support groups such as Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Legal and others relating to project/investment development.

* Manages relationships and coordinates operations with investment partners, including Smithfield Foods as well as other financial and corporate investment partners.

* Develop and lead analysis of GIG future growth strategies, key areas of responsibility include:

* Project Ownership - Expected to understand all inputs and assumptions used in Dominions financial, legal, engineering and operational review of potential strategic acquisitions and other projects. Team Building and Communications - supports New Gas BD team engagement and team dynamics; Creates and leverages existing communications tools for team engagement to streamline review processes;

* Process Improvement: Performs proactive risk assessment to address project complexity and stakeholder outreach issues;

* Consults with Director to determine appropriate role for internal and external stakeholder coordination and mediation resources;

* Identifies and recommends process improvement.



Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience



The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below.

Basic Qualifications:

* 7+ years of significant related experience - at least 2 years experience in Business Development/Investment Banking/Private Equity/Finance preferred

* Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilitites:

* Ability to communicate effectively and develop rapport with both internal and external customers

* Knowledge of financial management and analysis, valuation techniques (LBO, Comparable Companies, Discounted Cash Flow Method)

* Self-starter, willing to work independently with limited direction

* Utility and/or relevant industry experience preferred

* Ability to remain current with continual changes in the electric utility and natural gas markets

* Ability to lead and communicate effectively

* Ability to independently manage and coordinate activity in support of complex projects, and to make recommendations and decisions

* Ability to perform effectively in a high pace, multi-task environment.



Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Disciplines: Preferred: Business,Economics,Engineering,Marketing
