Maintenance Engineer - Multi-skilled


£36000k - £36500k

Our client, a well known, successful Manufacturing business operating across the UK and supplying products far and wide on a huge scale. The business has built a reputation on their level of quality and ability to meet customer demand consistently. The business has seen good growth in recent years and is continuing to do so.

As a multi-skilled Engineer working on day and night shifts your role will include but not be limited to:

-Carrying out planned as well as reactive maintenance across a variety of plant machinery

-Ensuring that machinery is operating at optimal performance

-Learning skills required to operate plant machinery in order to gain better understanding of processes

-Taking part in continuous improvement activities, helping to create new ideas and better solutions to create ever improving efficiencies

-Working on conveyors, robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's

-Involvement in electrical compliance

-Promoting safe working practises, understanding that health and safety is considered the most important factor at all times.

The successful candidate have:

-An electrical or mechanical engineering apprenticeship and Qualification

-City and Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, HNC / HND and 17th / 18th Edition regs would be ideal

-Diagnostic and fault finding knowledge on industrial and plant equipment

-Understanding of PLC's, 3 phase motors and inverters

- Ability to read Electrical wiring diagrams

-Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
