Purchasing jobs >> Retail/Purchasing

On behalf of our client I am recruiting for a CAPEX Buyer, initially on a contract basis but the position could potentially become a permanent arrangement. The client is a global wind power business.

The role is 95% CAPEX and governed through Denmark - but based in Hull to support the localised supply chain.

Main duties of the role are to prepare and conclude sourcing contracts based on customer requirements at the most beneficial conditions, whilst ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Focus on business-specific Procurement specifically focused on Capital Equipment (CapEx). Candidates will implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

Candidates should have solid capital buying experience, a minimum of 2 years with good contacts in the capital markets.

I am looking for candidates to either be CIPS qualified or working towards the qualification.
