Our client a Prestigious Motor Trade Dealership near Newport Pagnell is looking to employ an experience Motor Trade Bodyshop Administrator /Services Coordinator to join their bodyshop team.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to play a key part in supporting the Bodyshop Divisions with all aspects of Administration. Our client, based near Newport Pagnell. You must have at least two years recent Motor Trade Administration experience with attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service/administrative skills. You will be accurate and show attention to detail and be able to multi task and prioritise your workload. An organised and methodical individual, who is self-motivated and can demonstrate both the ability to work on initiative individually as well as working as part of a team.

The ideal candidate must also be well spoken with a friendly personality and excellent telephone skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and other staff members and accurately record all relevant information. Ability to receive and register payment for work carried out, accurately and precisely. Up-to-date knowledge of procedures and documentation.

Bodyshop Administrator /Services Coordinator Main Duties

- Meet and greet customers into the Bodyshop
- To ensure customers are advised of all work carried out and of any further requirements the vehicle may have for repair.
- Ensure customers are notified of method of payment prior to collecting vehicles.
- Collect payments for repairs to vehicles.
- Ensure correct procedures are adopted for verification of payment by cheque, credit card or charge card.
- Ensure all additional work has been identified and signed for by the customer.
- Accurately maintain the Bodyshop loading system
- To accurately maintain document control systems.
- Initial customer contact within specified time scales.
- Prioritise customer follow up calls and maintain log.
- Recording of all complaints (external) and cancelled jobs.
- Maximise additional sales opportunities.

Bodyshop Administrator /Services Coordinator Communications:

- Maintain effective liaison with customers,
- Insurance Engineers and other members of workshop staff.
- Maintain effective liaison with other departmental staff where appropriate.
- Ensure feedback of information to appropriate persons of any customer problems.
- Notify customers where necessary of completion of work.
- To ensure courteous and cost-effective use of telephone.
- To ensure a high standard of personal and company presentation in the reception area at all times.
