Description

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for a well-established transport firm in Wakefield. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis due to ongoing growth.

As the Accounts Assistant, your key duties will include but are not limited to;
*Posting bank transactions
*Match receipts with payments
*Complete bank and cash reconciliations
*Balance sheet reconciliations including journal postings
*Ensure documentation is kept up to date
*General administrative task
*Respond and solve queries
*Assist with year-end audit
*Ad hoc duties to support the team

The ideal candidate will have;
*Experience working in a similar role in Finance
*Knowledge of credits, debits, and reconciliations
*Intermediate Excel skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Effective communication skills both verbal and written
*Team player with a positive attitude

Please note, if successful there will be a paper-based Excel test at the interview stage.
