Description

Finance Assistant require for long-term maternity cover, working within a local construction company. This Swindon based role will be responsible for assisting the finance team.

- Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 (1 hours lunch)
- Maternity cover for 12 months
- 35 hours a week
- Salary up to £11.00 per hour

The duties of the Finance Assistant will include:

- Processing the company payroll including any adjustments and expenses
- Maintaining the purchase and sales ledger
- Handling supplier invoices and resolving any queries
- Create monthly reports
- Complete regular health and safety checks and update paperwork when necessary

To be a successful Finance Assistant, you will need the following:

- Previous experience using SAGE
- A working knowledge of processing payroll and purchase ledger
- AAT qualified would be advantageous
- Confident using all Microsoft Office packages
- Flexible approach to work, as you may be required to complete task outside of your regular routine
