My client is a leading business in Milton Keynes, they are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager on a rolling contract basis.
They now have a newly created position for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Manager to join the team and work closely with the HR Director.
Forming part of a Payroll and HR team, this standalone position promises to be both varied and challenging.
With the position being newly created it also offers great scope to change and improve the position and truly make the role your own.
• Full end to end processing of the staff payroll across the Group (500 monthly paid)
• Key point of contact for staff payroll queries
• Production and delivery of core employee documentation, including pay slips / P60s / P11Ds / P45s
• Ensure compliance to current legislation as well as statutory and contractual requirements
• Auto-enrolment responsibilities, and reconciliation / payment of pension contributions
• Reconciliations, HMRC requirements and year end processing
• Report production and development for monthly MI, sign offs and reconciliations
• Maintain compliance of auto enrolment requirements
• Stakeholder management and engagement with external partners
• Maintenance and refresh of bonus schemes with internal stakeholders and broader HR team
• Systems maintenance of payroll and benefits portals
Whilst this position is a senior level role, a hands on approach and strong technical grasp of payroll principles is essential as you will be involved in the day to day running of the monthly payroll.
The ability to review and improve process, policy and procedures and make long term strategic decisions as part of the HR team for Payroll and Benefits is also key
