Are you a Nurse Practitioner looking for new challenges and opportunities? We’re looking for Band 7 Nurse Practitioner with paediatric experience to join our West Lancs service, part time at our Urgent Care Centre and Walk in Centres in Ormskirk and Skelmersdale to help us continue to change things for the better!

Open 365 days a year we are staffed by a great team of friendly and experienced GP’s, ENPs, ANPs and Paramedics, all working together to deliver high quality care. As we are open from 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week we can offer you sessions to fit around your commitments.

We are a clinically-led organisation and our patients are always put first. Our management teams support our nurses’ ensuring that you have time to do the work you trained for, treating patients.

Working closely with our team and also the clinical Governance and Quality Teams you will assess and treat patients of all ages. You’ll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.

This is an opportunity to put your experience and training as a Nurse Practitioner to great use. You will have a Nurse practitioner qualification (with paediatric experience) and have A&E experience. With strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey. It’s also an exciting time as we create an Urgent care network within West Lancashire, staff can rotate through the services including the AVS (acute visiting service) If you’re looking for diversity, as a West Lancs Nurse Practitioner you’ll be offered the opportunity to work across all of our UCC, and walk-in centres creating your own portfolio, built around your interests and availability.
