The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and well organised AutoCad operative to join a dynamic Facilities Management team providing support to a buoyant and expanding company.

- Applicants will need to be fully conversant in AutoCAD 2015 and have experience of working with space planning, layouts and building services for both office and industrial environments.

The Role

To provide clear, accurate working layouts and design drawings such that the Facilities business and performance objectives are achieved and managed effectively. Coordinate and maintain the MBDA UK Facilities drawing portfolio for new projects/maintenance/operational activities.  Duties include:

- Produce AutoCAD and PDF drawings to meet MBDA Facilities Management requirements
- Design input & co-ordination of record drawings
- Maintain and update of all client site drawings including layers & desk layouts.
- Ability to be flexible in order to meet MBDA operational needs
- Manage and prioritize own workload
- Carry out extensive building site survey checks and update of record drawings
- Collate all drawings / information into set standard files. Assign write protection & relevant access rights to information held
- Overseeing day to day drawing portfolio requests / requirements.
- Prepare concept layout drawing, design brief notes and final schemes.
- Update and monitor drawing register and issue sheets.
- Building occupancy analysis
- Drawing production to enhance specialist areas (ESD, Safety Hazards, Access Control Doors, EM lighting, fire Evacuation plans etc).
- Liaise directly with MBDA employees and suppliers as and when required.
- Preparation of local authority planning applications.

Please Note: MBDA UK requires all employees to achieve and maintain SC security clearance or above without restrictions that will inhibit the individual’s ability to fulfil the requirements of the role.
