A very dynamic and fast-paced point of sale group is recruiting a contract design engineer to join them and support their in-house design team over an initial 3 month period.

Working with global clients on interesting projects from structural point of sale using injection moulded plastics, wood and sheet metal to bespoke projects that will keep any engineer busy and fulfilled.

A hands-on, practical exposure to product development and access to the complete manufacturing process.

They are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team and use your skills across all aspects of product development.

Key responsibilities of a design engineer:

Point of Sales upgrade.
Manufacture drawing updates.
Design support and creative detail.
Develop product specifications and requirements.
Product technical specifications.To be successful you will have:

Degree level education or equivalent.
An understanding of product development.
Ambition, drive and passion.
Working knowledge of SolidWorks.You will receive:

£20-£30 per hour
3 months initial contract with possible extensions
Flexible working options
