We are currently working with a multi service firm, who due to continued growth are now looking for a Level 2 IAAS Accredited Immigration Caseworker/Solicitor to join their firm on a permanent full time basis.

The job role comprises the following duties:

- attending and advising clients at all stages of their case
- managing own caseload
- preparing applications for the Home Office
- preparing cases for hearing at the Immigration Tribunal
- representing clients at the Immigration Tribunal
- drafting skeleton arguments and written representations
- drafting grounds of appeal to the Upper Tribunal
- drafting pre action protocol letters
- applying for legal aid funding
- conducting cases within the legal aid framework
- establishing and developing key contacts with stakeholders
- development of internal working procedures and practices to promote high levels of client care and service, maximise efficiency and financial return

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and administrative skills
- The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure / to deadlines
- The ability to multi-task
- IT literate in all Microsoft Office packages
- Understand and observe confidentiality and data protection policies and procedures
- Personable but professional, including appearance
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and working hours
- A team player
- Work within agreed organisational protocols
