Maintenance Engineer job in Bristol. Permanent Night Shift (10pm - 6pm) Sunday night - Thursday night.

Your new role
You will effectively maintain the automation and equipment within the site, ensuring that the automated equipment and systems run to optimum efficiency. You will proactively monitor automation and system performance ensuring any issues identified are raised, escalated and captured on the CMMS system. A key part of your job will be to proactively carry out maintenance and repair works as and when required and support a continuous improvement process. T=You will need to ensure that the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is fully utilised in line with company guidelines and all planned maintenance and corrective work is carried out in a timely manner. Your team will have the collective responsibility of managing engineering workshops, stores areas, spares and equipment.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased and your previous experience will come from a manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment. You will ideally be apprentice trained and hold relevant qualifications and certifications. You are able to work on your own initiative, managing your own workload and prioritising tasks. You will also need to be an excellent team player, who can share ideas and improvements with your colleagues. You can also communicate well, especially with non-engineering colleagues.
