FastTrack are working with an established building services consultancy that are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing building design team in Bristol.

The successful Electrical Engineer must have a minimum of 2 years within the electrical Design sector. A degree is desired ideally in Electrical Engineering or Building services but other similar STEM fields will be considered.

The electrical engineer will need to have a history of delivering into high end residential and commercial office environments.

The Electrical Engineer with require a high level of communication skills as the electrical engineer will be answering the phone and participating in conference calls, as well as participating in meetings and taking control of projects.

The candidate will be looking after all electrical aspects of the business, from electrical design (HVAC), sourcing equipment, calculations, writing specifications and attending meetings.

The Electrical Design Engineer will have an exciting and rewarding opportunity will offer career development on-going training, as well as employee benefits and social events.

Key Requirements:

Be able to offer specialist advice on power supply, lighting design, load reduction,
Actively address issues; present solutions, not problems.
Ability to work on own initiative - accurately, independently and efficiently, and to take ownership of projects.
Developing your skills and understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
Write clear and concise reports
Be an effective communicator and team player
Be able to Inspire external clients and junior engineers
