We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in Hull.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for any maintenance issues

• To be responsible for the output of a specific team

• Responsible for maintaining the Health & Safety standards in their area of work

• Be the first point of contact for absences, carry out return to works, highlighting any issues to the Team Leader

• Carry out a weekly team brief

• Act as the first point of contact for holiday authorisation, ensuring appropriate levels of resourcing in place

• Ensure that the team adheres to all departmental systems including BRF, PM, FU and WO compliance understanding prioritisation when necessary.

• Facilitate Engineering procurement, to ensure parts and equipment services are ordered & stocked efficiently

• Approved Contractor management whilst on site

• Assignment of tasks as necessary to team members

• Ensure that the 5S’s Ethos is adhered to

• Complete Health and safety, quality and contractor audits where necessary


• Experience within the manufacturing industry

• Good understanding of all engineering disciplines ie. mechanical/electrical/fabrication/building maintenance etc.

• Apprentice served (NVQ level 3) in mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering

• Good understanding or PUWER and LOLER regulations.

• Experience of contractor management

• Knowledge of pneumatics system, PLC controls, Atex & LEV

• Basic IT skills, word, excel

• Literate and numerate

£16.77 per hour

7:30am – 4:30pm – Monday to Thursday

7:30am – 12:30pm – Friday
