Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician who is currently training to become fully qualified as an M&E Engineer. This opportunity will provide full training support and an opportunity to work lots of overtime and become a qualified M&E engineer. The role is focused around PPM and reactive maintenance to domestic and commercial properties in the Bristol and surrounding areas.

Client Details

Our client is a growing Building and Construction / building services provider who have a great presence in the Bristol / South West area.


The Maintenance Technician will be involved in:

PPM - Basic Plumbing, Electrical, AC and general fabric works (Painting & decorating, carpentry, tiling, hanging doors)

Reactive maintenance

Health and Safety

Work on a mobile basis with travel across Bristol and surrounding areas.


The successful Maintenance Technician will be training towards an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Fabric (Carpentry).

Have an interest in working as a mobile engineer completing ppm and reactive maintenance works.

Have worked for a building services provider, Facilities management provider, Building and Construction business.

17th edition, CSCS, Health and safety certificates would be desirable.

Job Offer

Salary up to £28,000

Overtime is available and paid at various rates.

On call rota will be available after probation period

Van, phone, tablet are all provided
