Our client is a very successful and established manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance engineer.

The role is based at our client’s busy manufacturing factory in Leeds.

The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance duties associated with a busy production manufacturing plant.

Duties will include but is not limited to the following;

* Maintenance, service and repair of tool room equipment such as lathes, milling machines, CNC machines, routers, saws and cutting machinery

* Mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant including overhead cranes, fork lift trucks.

* Gearboxes, pumps, motors,

* Basic 3-phase electrical maintenance motros, inverters, panel wiring

* Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors

* Welding & fabrication

* Some basic facilities maintenance

Candidate:

We are seeking experienced mechanical maintenance engineer with good 3-phase electrical ability knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine maintenance e.g. CNC machinery.

Applicants with good 3-phase electrical maintenance experience or 17th /18th Edition will have an advantage but it is not essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
