Quality Controller

Quest Employment have several opportunities for Quality Controllers based in Brackley working within the food industry. Successful candidates will join the team on a temporary basis with the possibility to secure a permanent role.

The role of the quality controller is to work as part of a team, assessing and checking the quality of the raw food products to ensure they pass the required standard.  You will need to understand legal requirements along with health and safety standards and food practices.  You will be required work to the specifications requested by the client.

The main duties of the role include:

Thoroughly check the products to the required standard
Check the product is free from any disease
Dispose of rejected products within the correct bin
Follow instructions from the relevant management teams
To be aware, understand and follow health and safety procedures
To be aware, understand and follow legal requirements
To be aware, understand and follow health and safety procedures
Due to the nature of the product, you will be working in a very warm environment, of which the surroundings are damp, with a wet floor. Relevant PPE and training will be provided to you.

Day Shift

The working pattern is to work 4 out of 5 days per week with one rolling day per week off

Hours are 06:25 – 18:00
Twilight Shift

Sunday – Thursday
18:00-03:00 (15:25 start on Sunday)
 Pay rates:

DAYS £8.50

NIGHTS £8.50 plus £2 per hour for unsocial hours

Employment type- Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities
