Responsibilities:

As our new Intensive Care Nurse at Saint John Hospital, you will provide complex and challenging care to our most critical patients in the ICU.  You will have the excitement of working in a fast-paced environment that will utilize your quick critical thinking and problem solving skills.  If you are patient-centered with a willingness to uphold patient safety and patient satisfaction, and looking for an opportunity to move up in acuity, then we are serious about helping you enhance your skillset! Saint John Hospital is looking for an RN with a knack for compassion, specialized knowledge on how to provide life-saving, intensive care in order to de-escalate the patient’s health need. To be successful, you will have to communicate with our physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results, and symptomatology. Additionally, you will be part of a close, very collaborative and supportive Intensive Care team.



Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must have an active, unencumbered Registered Nursing License and able to practice nursing in the state of Kansas.  A BLS through American Heart Association and ACLS will be required upon hire.  At least one year of applicable experience, Completion of Critical Care Course, Critical Care RN (CCRN), and BSN is preferred.
