Job Title: Senior Traffic Engineer

Office Location: London

Desired Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

A specialist traffic and transportation consultancy is looking to continue the growth of their London based team, through the recruitment of a Senior Traffic Engineer.

You will support private and public-sector clients through undertaking transport planning studies and developing transportation schemes throughout the UK.

Candidate specification:

6+ years' traffic engineering experience;
Good mathematical and written English skills;
Degree level of education in a relevant subject;
Knowledge of Manual for streets & TSRGD;
Proficiency with AutoCAD;
Competent project manager;
Confident mentoring junior staff and overseeing technical output;
Experience with Junctions 10, Vissim, Visum, Paramics & Transyt.The successful applicant will assist in the management & delivery of projects in London and across the UK, whilst offering support & mentorship to more junior staff. The position will also mean acting as design lead for the office, giving you the opportunity to be involved with both internal and external training.

Package:

The organisation is offering a starting salary of up to £40,000, along with a company pension scheme, private medical insurance, professional membership costs and a bonus scheme.
