Teacher of English Required for Blackburn

Your new School…

We are currently working with Secondary School in Blackburn, Lancashire, who are looking for a English teacher to join their English department from September 2019. This school receives overwhelming feedback from both pupils and staff for the welcoming and supportive environment. Situated within modern school buildings and each department being well resourced, it provides the perfect environment for teaching and learning.

This school are currently recruiting for a Teacher of English to work within their English department and assist the Head of English drive the department forward. As a Teacher of English you will be integral in ensuring all pupils achieve the best grades they can. You will be expected to work with the Head of English to develop and implement themes of works for the entire English department. NQT’s are welcome to apply.

You will…

* Hold QTS in Secondary English

* Have a clear enthusiasm and passion for English and teaching

* Support with the creation, adaptation and delivery of the English curriculum and schemes of work

* Have a relentless focus on raising the attainment of all pupils
