SUMMARY
Our client is a multinational Property and Construction consultancy operating across a variety of sectors from Commercial to Healthcare to Infrastructure.
They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on rail projects in Scotland.
It is essential for the applicant to have experience in either Rail, Highways or Build projects.
KEY DUTIES
Management of projects both pre and post-contract
Contributing to business development
Financial management of own commissions
Provide support on major project management commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
Preparation of contracts for commissions to comply with Risk Management policy
Ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working on multi-million-pound Rail, Highways Build projects within the UK
Experience working on NEC contracts
Quantity Surveying or Construction-related degree
Chartered or a member of a professional body such as RICS, APM, CIOB (ideally)
