I have a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced User Researcher working for a leading financial organisation in Edinburgh for a 6-12 month contract paying £450 a day. This organisation are well known within the market for being 'digital first' and are heavily investing in digital in 2019 and beyond.

Your research will help the organisation understand their customers needs and desires and build fantastic products and services to meet them. You'll have knowledge of moderating usability tests, co-design, card sorting exercises, ethnographic studies and all of the associated documentation and process of conducting these research activities. You'll understand quantitative research methods like surveys, remote testing and web analytics. This role is a thoroughbred User Research role with little to no requirement to perform any design work.

An overview of the successful User Researcher's responsibilities are listed below, however, this is not an exhaustive list:

-Designing and running usability studies on paper and digital prototypes and live sites and devices to improve the organisations branded digital services and products - this may include usability testing, card sorting exercises, ethnographic research, heuristic and expert reviews, and other research as identified

-Running co-design and research workshops internal stakeholder's to explore goals, and share research findings and insights with project teams

-Liaising with and using research to influence key stakeholders including senior management, product teams, legal, compliance, innovation, digital transformation, e-Commerce and content management by conducting research activities to gain buy-in to make Customer improvements
