Job Title: Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Location: Office based in Peterborough.

Target: CeMAP Qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser. (Min 2 Years Broking Experience.)

Rewards: 12 month salary guarantee of up-to £45K* Realistically achievable £60K OTE with Basic Salary of £30K Plus commission and benefits package.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri working two early shifts 9am-6pm and three late shifts 11am-8pm weekly.                            

Timeline: Immediate interviews with 07th October Start.

We are looking for high performing and enthusiastic individuals to join our team based at our Colchester office, to provide specialist mortgage and protection advice to our customers in a telephone environment. 

As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser at IMH, we believe your skills and experience are best suited to focusing purely on the provision of quality advice and sales to our customers.  At IMH, the work of contacting customers, securing appointments and the progressing of the mortgage applications is the sole remit of our dedicated Adviser Support team.  We create the opportunity for you to perform at your very best.

This is a office based role so you will need to live within a 60 minutes travel window of Peterborough PE8.

You will be articulate and engaging. You will be writing in excess of 20 mortgages per month so you will also be highly motivated and organised. You will also have a strong track record in mortgage and protection sales. Full CEMAP or equivalent is of course essential. 

Mortgage and Protection Adviser responsibilities: 

Arrange mortgage and mortgage related products on behalf of The New Homes Group customers

Ensure all leads are followed up and managed in a timely manner

Undertaking telephone fact-finds as required

Diligent and focused on providing the highest level of mortgage advice to customers

Diligent and focused on providing the highest level of service to our House Builder clients

Following the mortgage sales process, ensuring full compliance at all times.

To meet and maintain compliance with all competency guidelines

Focused on agreed sales targets and key performance indicators

Maintain strong working relationships with Introducers

Ensure that all documentation is current and up to date

Ensure that requirements of the Training & Competency Scheme are met

Keep up to date with products changes and regulatory requirements

Able and willing to get to our Peterborough offices as and when required

Ensure that all current regulation guidelines are met

Ensure Money Laundering Guidelines are adhered to

Ensure the requirements of GDPR are met

Ad hoc duties as and when required by the Sales Director

Smart and well presented at all times, portraying a professional image

Outgoing, Ambitious and self-motivated

The ability to thrive in a pressurised environment 

Required Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding Communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format

Minimum, of 2 years demonstrable mortgage sales experience

Full CeMAP mortgage qualification or equivalent

Experience of Financial Services sales and an understanding of compliance regulations.

Highly competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Full driving licence
