My Client a Leading Funder is currently seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join their Northern team.

· To ensure that risk is controlled to the standard agreed by the company and Group Risk Director.

· Cover all aspects of risk however will principally focus on Operational risk, Client Facility Underwriting/Sanctioning, Portfolio/Client Risk Management and Recoveries.

· Drives best practice and champions the development and improvement of existing operating processes.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Ensures risk is controlled within Group standards.

Takes responsibility for monitoring operational risk, sampling & reporting, underwriting/sanctioning, risk management and recoveries.

Manages the Recoveries function.

Any other duties or projects commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role, for which the role holder has the necessary experience and/or training
