Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for a Dutch Speaking Assistant Accountant in the South Leeds area. This is an exciting opportunity in an established finance team at a growing business.

The successful candidate will support the Management Accounts Team in the preparation, collation and reporting of the P&L and balance sheet monthly results.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following:

Journal entries in preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Accounts and Management Information.

Maintaining supported schedules for journal postings to ensure clear audit trails.

Assist in the P&L analysis of certain business areas, identifying variances that need investigating in further detail.

Supporting with the Budget Process and Forecasting.

Assisting with statutory accounts production.

Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Analysing and preparing reports, KPI’s and performance statistics.

Working with varying stakeholders within the business to support them with financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will:

Be part qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA although this is not essential.

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels.

A positive and methodical approach to problems when they arise.

Be willing to and able to travel and work flexibly, in particular at month, quarter and year end.

Be driven to progress and develop within the business.
