Front End Developer

My client a large digital media and publishing company are looking x2 Developers on a permanent basis to join their fantastic head office.
Key responsibilities
• Maintain and develop complex front-end applications in JavaScript and relevant frameworks/libraries
• Maintain and develop complex backend features within a Drupal stack
• Integrate/implement frameworks, client APIs, libraries and SDKs
• Bring concepts to life from supplied UX/UI designs
• Work collaboratively as an integrated member of the team
• Participate with the team in agile planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Provide development input to estimation meetings for product sprints, backlog items and for new projects
• Ensure scope and technical specifications are sufficient to produce development works, and work with PM’s and other team members to enhance these where appropriate
• Identify areas for improvement and work with the team to implement appropriate agile practices
• Ensure code quality across releases is of a high standard
• Mentor junior members of the team where appropriate

Skills and experience
• HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, React, Node
• High level of competency in PHP and Drupal development
• Experience working with GIT
• Experience with application management tools such as Jira or similar
• Experience of development operations, managing releases and release processes
• Experienced Developer, covering a wide range of development ops tasks, with a passion for development and code
