Bertram Books is a flourishing book wholesaler providing support and knowledge to a wide range of retail outlets, leading the way in developing in-depth customer relations with both independent and retail chains. We work with publishers to ensure that our customers have the best range of books, at the best price possible.

An excellent opportunity now exists for two dynamic, outbound sales professionals to join our team in a newly created Outbound Account Executive role which focuses on generating new business and additional sales from dormant, disengaged or unknown customers for a defined territory within either the UK or Internationally.

These roles will be working as part of a small, enthusiastic team who are passionate about delivering a first class service to our customers. Our International Outbound Account Executive will work flexibly, Monday – Friday, to ensure successful communication to customers within different time zones whilst our UK Outbound Account Executive will work 9am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday.

To be considered for this exciting new position you must demonstrate the following criteria:

• Experience of working in an Outbound Account Executive/Sales role
• Whilst this role is working to soft KPIs, experience of working in a targeted environment would be desirable
• Able to identify opportunities for new business
• Self-motivated and able to act upon own initiative
• Articulate communicator able to converse at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail, remains accurate under pressure
• Willingness to travel to Book Fairs and occasional client meetings

This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who is able to spot opportunities, grow businesses and work closely with book shop owners and colleagues to ensure that you are a valued partner in their businesses growth and development.
