With an abundance of projects in the pipeline, a structural engineering consultancy I work with are on the market for a mid-level to senior Structural Engineer to join their London Office. This is a growing business who work on residential and commercial new builds, refurbishments and extensions.

The ideal Structural Engineer would be;

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in structural design engineering (post graduation)
  • Ideally Chartered or motivated to achieve Chartership
  • Experience working on residential/commercial building structures to British Standards
  • Able communicate and conduct themselves effectively in client meetings


  • The successful Structural Engineer would be working on multi projects at once, managing the design process from start to finish.
  • Managing a small office with projects varying in type and size including carrying out structural design on new and existing building
  • Working efficiently and meeting deadlines
  • Typical projects involve major temporary works design and permanent works design on residential, commercial, retail and institutional buildings
  • Building relationships with new and existing Clients will be an important part of the job
  • Using Masterseries and SCIA/CADS
