This role is 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday offering an annual salary of up to GBP 21,000 depending on experience. However candidates must be prepared to work shifts if required, inclusive of weekends and nights.

intu Milton Keynes is now seeking to recruit a Building services operative to be responsible for the delivery of reactive and planned preventative maintenance to common areas including but not limited to general repairs, painting, carpentry and plumbing and a there will be manual handling tasks. The suitable candidate will work as part of an in house technical services team carrying out maintenance to ensure the operational effectiveness of the centre is maintained. Suitable candidates will be required to maintain accurate site records and documentation and work within the SLA and KPI's for breakdowns and repairs and adhere to health and safety policy at all times. As a Building Services operative we are ideally looking for candidates to have 1-3 years' experience in a maintenance or building/construction experience and either have a NVQ or City and Guilds part qualification or just qualified in a trade related background. They should be able to carry out basic lamp changes, fixing joinery and assisting engineers with more complex maintenance tasks
