Description

This position is working with an international PLC listed manufacturing organization, offering unrivalled opportunities for both personal and career development within an organisation committed to driving standard and systems of work.

The successful candidate will be in a key role providing support and advice to enable the company to comply with its legal requirements and achieve a world-class standard in Quality, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability. They will perform a wide variety of administrative tasks in support of factories and external parties.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Work with all business stakeholders to ensure the company’s strategy for Quality, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability is fulfilled and in line with legal requirements and ISO requirements.
* Provide support, advice, the sharing and assistance in the implementation of best practice across all functions.
* Gathering information relating to energy consumption, quality and environmental data for internal use and statutory reporting under relevant legislation and standards.
* Clear understanding of regulations, laws and sustainability issues that affect a large multi-site business.
* Purchase order processing.
* Recording, handling and collation of environmental complaints data.
* Control of Level 1 QMS, EMS/EnMS manuals and factory site specific Level 2 manuals.
* Maintenance of audit schedules, all ISO certification, recycled content and supplier audit paperwork.

Essential qualifications and experience:

* Excellent attention to detail
* Good general PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Excellent written communication skills
* Knowledge of JDE or similar order processing system would be advantageous but training can be provided.

Position: Quality, Energy and Environmental Advisor / Administrator

Location: Nottingham, at times also requiring UK wide travel upon an ad-hoc basis

Duration: Permanent

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
