Health and Safety Officer, 24 Hours Per week, £30,000 (Pro Rata)

Monday to Friday, 24 Hours per week

Outskirts of Thetford; Manufacturing and Distribution company

We are looking for a Health and Safety Officer with good experience and ideally knowledge of NEBOSH and IOSH to join our client, a company in Mildenhall. This is a permanent role, offering £30,000 (pro rata) per annum for 24 hours per week.

Main Duties:

Providing health & safety advice and guidance throughout the business whilst reviewing and amending health & safety policy and procedures
Responsible for the development of the company’s health and safety action plan and strategy
Carrying out all accident investigations, analysis and reporting
Conducting health & safety audits across the company network, this required occasional travel to other sites
Ensuring statutory requirements are met in regards to fire safety, first aid, personal equipment and welfare facilities
Delivering and developing health & safety induction training for all staff

Essential Skills:

Experience within similar role essential
NEBOSH Certificate preferable
IOSH Membership preferable
