A modern thinking innovative manufacturing company, based between Ystrad Mynach and Caerphilly, are looking to bring on board a Shift Technician on a permanent basis. The company manufacture and supply products in the packaging sector UK wide, to a number of household name brands. As a maintenance engineer, you will play a key part in the company’s journey to exponential growth and allow them to break into new European markets, through continuous improvement and machine efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

* To provide support and technical knowledge (training provided)

* Tweak machines to obtain maximum efficiency and optimum output

* Carry out maintenance and repairs

* Document machine breakdowns and create a log

* Be responsible for the Health and Safety reference

* Assist production when required

You will need to be:

* Ambitious, hands on, forward thinking, with an engineering mindset

* Mechanical, repair and machine maintenance background

* Have a team work attitude

* Mechanical City and Guild qualified or equivalent with electrical knowledge
