Software Developer required for a progressive and successful production company in The Midlands. Reporting into the Development Manager, this is a great opportunity to join an established team of software development professionals in their continued project work.

The Job Role:

* Working alongside a team of experienced software developers.

* Development of high-quality functionality and features using the very latest developer programs for our internal/external websites and applications running on the Microsoft stack including ASP .Net, Web Services, and SQL Server, covering all aspects of the business.

* Partaking in problem analysis with business users, BA’s and architects to assist and determine software solutions and enhancements.

* Enhancing order management, e-Commerce, CRM, and manufacturing of web applications.

* Providing maintenance break/fix support for the company websites and triage support issues as needed.

* Adhering to all quality and safety standards within the department.

* Continued desire to improve individual performance.

* Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.

* Additional tasks as request.

Experience/ Requirements:

* Appropriately applies engineering principles and concepts to area of specialisation.

* Plans and performs development duties for part of a major project of for projects of moderate complexity.

* Creative problem solving and strong business correspondence skills

* Demonstrate sound business judgement

* Ability to work well with all functional work groups within the company

* Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated

* Bachelors degree with 5-8+ years of commensurable .NET development work experience or Masters degree with 4+ years of commensurable .NET development work experience.

* Proficient in C#, .NET Core, MS-SQL, HTML.

* Experience with multiple .NET patterns and platform technologies like C#, ASP.NET sites, web services, SOA, or MVC.

* Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.

* Experience with Docker a plus

* Desired experience utilizing agile software practices or working in an agile environment using: scrum software development practices , automated unit testing, continuous integration ,code reviews,version control systems (e.g. Git, Subversion, or Mercurial)

* Proficient in C#, .NET Core, MS-SQL, HTML.

* Experience with multiple .NET patterns and platform technologies like C#, ASP.NET sites, web services, SOA, or MVC.

* Strong communication skills and work ethic

* Demonstrated history of staying current on best practices in technology

The Package:

* Salary – Up to £50,000

* 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Rising yearly)
