An exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager has arisen at this leading, well established company. Is it time you took the next step?

Our client is looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual to take on this role and become a part of a truly brilliant, dedicated team.

Reporting to the supply chain manager, you will be responsible for the entire planning function and ensuring that the production plans are managed effectively to meet the customer requirements and maximise production efficiency.

You will also be responsible for team training and development and be required to hold weekly meetings and demonstrate the correct attitude and safety behaviours that will promote the correct culture and standards to the team.

Continuous improvement will play a big part in your role here and it is important that you have previous experience of managing cost saving projects as well as a keen eye for making changes when necessary.

A background of at least 2 years in a planning environment is essential for this position along with excellent communication skills and problem solving. You must also be highly computer literate and be able to demonstrate a great working ethic and passion for what you do.
