Our Opportunity

The jobholder is a member of the Business Systems Support Team based in Ripponden providing IT and Systems support to all JLA employees, often under extreme pressure.

The incumbent will design, develop and maintain our Pivotal CRM installation. Pivotal is a core business application with in excess of 400 users.

The job holder should have a passion to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects and will need to be a team player and excellent communicator.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives

* Pivotal CRM Bugs and Fix Execution

* Participate in requirements analysis

* Plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement

* Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture

* Write clean, scalable code using .NET / C# programming languages

* Test and deploy applications and systems

* Revise, update, refactor and debug code

* Improve existing software

* Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

* Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

* Prepare test based applications for various .Net applications.

* Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.

* Investigate and develop skills in new technologies

* Create technical specifications and test plans

* Monitor everyday activities of system and provide require support

* Under the guidance of the Business Systems Manager, ensure that all employees are provided with the service and help they require

* Use SSMS to identify performance issues and solutions

* Must be able to work well in a high pressure environment

* Must be able to work well on your own and in a team environment

* Manage your own time to be able to handle multiple projects running concurrently

* Liaise with 3rd Party software providers to fix bugs/issues within the Pivotal CRM system
