Technical Web Developer

We are seeking a talented and capable web developer to join a central Cambridge CB5 based organisation working on internal and cutting edge projects. The successful applicant will play a key role in developing and supporting web-based systems, using the Drupal framework and other web technologies.

Working within a forward thinking team you will play a key role in developing and supporting a collection of sites with huge traffic and content management, the email marketing platform, and interactive functionality. You will work on new builds, current functionality and the advancement of our clients intranet, used by 800+ internal staff. Applicants shall have commercial experience of PHP and ideally using Drupal and custom module and theme development. Prior experience of CRM systems and other web and application frameworks will be useful

Skills and experience:

Essential:

* educated to degree level or equivalent software development experience

* experience using Drupal, including custom module and theme development

* strong PHP skills

Desirable:

* experience working with CRM systems (ThankQ, CiviCRM)

* experience working with version control (GIT) and issue management tools (JIRA)

* experience writing complex SQL for data analysis, migration and integrity testing

* experience in contributing to open source projects

* experience with other web and application frameworks (C#, front-end frameworks, Symfony)
