An opportunity for an experienced HR and Payroll Administrator to join a successful and growing corporate, which continues to retain a family feel, at an exciting time. This newly created Administrator role has a range of responsibilities to support the growth of the department and as such duties may evolve over time. You will initially perform a key role in engaging Managers with the launch and functionality of a new HR system.

Based in modern offices in a beautiful rural location, hours are 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility possible on start and end times.

Reporting to the Group HR Manager, the HR and Payroll Administrator will:

- Prepare the administration for the monthly payroll for the Group of circa 300 employees, plus liaison with the service providers
- Cleanse and update personnel data in readiness for the export of information
- Update and maintain personnel files: starters, leavers, holidays and attendance
- Establish new processes to support the department and function
- Archive records in line with the Data protection policy
- Be the first point of contact for questions in relation to the new system and payroll
- Produce documentation and administration to support new starters:  letters, Induction packs and inputting information into contracts
- Create reports in line with business requirements

The Ideal HR and Payroll Administrator will:

- Have a working knowledge of auto-enrolment pension schemes
- Demonstrate a flexible approach and use of initiative
- Be conversant with employment law in relation to the role
- Have excellent numeracy skills, supported by relevant qualifications (Min A level or equivalent)
- CIPD or AAT qualification is a nice to have but not essential for success
- Demonstrate strong IT skills, including MS Excel to an intermediate standard
- Be experienced in handling confidential information
- Be a strong communicator, able to use tact and diplomacy

In return, the Administrator will receive a salary of £23,000 per annum.
