About Our Client:

Our client are growing...FAST! They have some ambitious growth plans in place and considering what they have achieved in the past 2-3 years we expect them to go on to deliver their plans. They have some great brands, product ranges and customers. They import products from China and the Far East, as well as manufacturing some of their products here in the UK. They have a long standing history steeped in success. Product innovation and developing a range that appeals to their customers is very important to them - they have over 2,000 quality products within their portfolio.

About the Job:

This role will work within the Supply Chain team playing a vital part in ensuring a smooth inbound process enabling the business to deliver orders in full and on time. You will utilise your supply chain planning skills to identify any potential issues before they impact availability. You will be able to communicate clearly and affectively with internal and external stakeholders - working closely with suppliers, forecasters, production, buying and customer service teams. Experience in long lead time products, import administration and complex supply chains would therefore be advantageous in this role.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a supply chain role with importation of goods forming part of this. You will need to be able to work at real pace; this is a very fast moving industry and so you will be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will be adept at using Excel spreadsheets and/or ERP systems. Ideally, you will also have strong presentation skills and feel comfortable communicating your findings and recommendations to a varied audience (including non-supply chain people).

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will have a background in supply chain analysis and planning with a minimum of two years importing experience. You will be a strong communicator and a good team player.
