An exciting opportunity to join the newly created Customer Strategy Team in the UK’s leading specialist electrical and telecommunications retailer and services company. 

The Customer Strategy team is pivotal to enabling the delivery of our vision ‘We help Everyone enjoy Amazing Technology’.  We are obsessive about the end to end Customer Experience value chain. We work with senior teams across all customer touchpoints to ensure Customers are central to our decision making and we achieve continuous improvement and increased value by developing innovative omnichannel propositions , initiatives, strategies and activities across all key customer journeys.

Within the Customer Strategy Development team, this role identifies, designs and re-engineers Customer Category strategies including ranging, pricing, promotions as well as recommending new markets and growth opportunities. 

A strong project management background is essential as this will be a varied program of initiatives to benefit our overall end to end customer experience, increasing revenues, and ensuring ROIs are maximized

Key Responsibilities
•    You will lead and define the annual Customer Category Strategy plan for Senior Commercial business leaders 
•    Through business reviews, market & competitive insights, customer data and insight identify & prioritise the performance growth opportunities for strategic categories 
•    Scope and orchestrate strategic commercial initiatives that will lead to an improved end to end customer experience that drives revenue, market share and profitability
•    Scope, design and lead strategic projects through to implementation cross functionally
•    Competently produce Business benefit cases and be able to work cross functionally 
•    Continuously look for ways to develop our business performance and future growth presenting new opportunities across technology, process, people, structure, governance and performance metrics to better align it to driving customer centricity
•    Own the customer category strategy roadmap and work with all relevant functions across the business
•    Manage the pace and delivery of projects and programmes through workstream leads across the business

Skills and Experience Required
•    Advanced strategic planning skills from either a consulting firm or in a strategy department 
•    Experience in commercial including market & competitor analysis 
•    Strong financial experience in delivering successful profitable projects  
•    Extensive experience in delivering senior strategic programmes across technology & digital
•    Strong business development capability&  programme management
